Although 2013 started out well, it has had its ‘hectic’ moments already. When it began, I prayed and asked God to grant me the knowledge and wisdom I would need to get my degree, I asked him to bless me in order to become a blessing to others….And guess what? May things have gone wrong; whenever I try to help someone (financially) I suffer. Whenever I try to do my assignments I get super lazy. But the joy I have had since day one, is still within me.
But things made a turn in this month of May……
After seven months of not going to church, my dear mother explained how much I needed prayer, and to at least attend one church service per month. Well… I went on the 12th of May (woman’s day) and glory to God I am alive again. Things are turning out just the way I want them, and I trust God that many more blessings are on their way.
And until the end of time, these are the words I say to my father in heaven each day I pray:
God, create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. Purify me and wash me, so that I can be whiter than snow. Let me not away from your presence, Lord let your holy spirit leave in me. Restore the joy of your salvation; with your willing spirit please uphold me.
